Did congressman Paul name his son after Ayn Rand?

I was intrigued when heard the introduction of Ron Paul’s son RAND Paul, from the video above. Could it be that Ron named his son after the famed philosopher and author?

Ayn Rand was a Russian-born American novelist and philosopher, best known for creating a philosophy she named "Objectivism" and for writing the novels We the Living, The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged and the novella Anthem.
